Turbo h23

Gotta few questions on turboing my h23. I wanna run a t3/t4 setup with a fully built engine.... but im a little impatient and wanna do the turbo now. Would I be safe to run a turbo on a stock h23, on stock boost (7-8 psi) w/out blowing or breaking anything for a while until I swap out rods n that stuff? This engines has about 115,000 miles and hasnt been raced or stressed majorly for the most part.
