GTA:SA Harrier Jet

Is there a way to switch this jet into forward-mode? Or do you just have to fly it like a heli?

I am pretty sure you can use the right analog stick (moving it up, or down) to adjust the things on the side of the wings. It is the jet you steal from the army boat, right?

Right analogue stick forward swings the jets down for hovering, pulling it back swings them back for normal flight.

If you use the out side camera you can see the jet thrust move as the nozzels move :)

you got it backwards. down puts the thrusters vertical, forward puts them forward.

or just tilt the right analog stick forward.

turned out to be sorta dissapointing in jet mode. :( I thought it would be faster... :dunno:

Its so fast, gets you from flight school to los santos in less than a minute

If you press R1, you can "lock on" to a target, the target turns green. If you hold it, the target will turn from green to red, PRESS FIRE! This is heat seaking! The missile will destroy the target without you having to literally aim.

Also, if you fly over the military base, and you get those rockets after you, look behind you, and when you see the missile, press O (circle) and the plane will fire missiles back and destroy the targets following you.

Where is it on the navy boat? Ive taken my jetpack there looking for the jet but I cant find it...

Dude, once I was flying low in San Fierro, and suddenly I got 5 stars. I was like WTF! So I fly lower to the ground and all these FBI cars are chasing me, so I shoot them.

It's not there...

I don't want to spoil it for you, but you have to complete a mission to access it, just like the jetpack.

*ed* plus, you don't get it in san fierro, you get it somewhere in Las Venturas, not saying where!!

You got five stars because you flew over the San Fierro Naval Base which is next to the runway for the airport.

1. The things you fir back at the missles are flares.

2. They don't blow the missles up, the flares are hit by the missles & they blow up.

3. The missles are heat-seeking.

Im not sure about PS2 version but on the PC I was able to turn thrusters from hover to forward using NUM pad. Youll see the thruster move from pointing down to totally behind you.... goes fast
