i want a chevy 1500 Z71 but i dunno wat year i want it yet. i like the older style better but i want the most power. i dont liuke the new front end styles. i was thinkin somewhere along the lines of a anyting older than a 98. but i dunno wat year they started to make the newer front end styles.

i've heard the 96 is good cuz its all metal except for the wheel wells but then the 97 and 98 are fiberglass. wats the advantages and disadvantages of fiberglass. o i mean carbon fiber.

They started making the current front-end style in 2003. And there's never been a carbon fiber body.

so then wat year should i go with? 96, 97 or 98?

I dont really think there is any difference in those three years at all. Get one with a Vortec 350 and a HD chassis package if you can find it.
