mine got dirty as shit after about 7k, and i have a short ram. but technically it's good for almost ever. all you have to do is clean it with a K&N recharge kit.

thanks auto i never knew if they had to be cleaned or what ya did with them or if you had to buy another one after so many miles or something.

you can just clean them, it takes a decent amount of time clean because you have to let it air dry. they're not too expensive, i'd recomend getting a second one to put on while the while the dirty one is getting cleaned. then bag the newly cleaned filter until the other one gets dirty, then repeat.
