Service Manual86bowtie 11-24-2004, 09:09 PM What would be the best service manual to own and where could I get it? I found a Haynes manual but it seemed to have everything except a Caprice. Any suggestions would be great. TommySS 11-24-2004, 10:16 PM Haynes tells you just enough info to get you into a LOT of trouble that you can't get out of. Get the factory manual from Helm. You might be able to source one on eBay, or you could order it direct from Helm. On the rare occasion I couldn't fix a problem, the dealer was very grateful to "borrow" mine. 86bowtie 11-24-2004, 11:22 PM Thanx Tommy, I'll stay away from Haynes!! I will definitely look into the manual from Helm. TommySS 11-25-2004, 02:40 PM Don't let the small print and thickness scare you, it's actually very thorough. It's not cheap, but you'll like the info.
