Screwy Sunroof on '02

Well, I just bought an 02 Tahoe Z-71 and I got drenched riding into work this morning. I'm sure you all know how the sunroof drops down and then slides underneath the roof to retract, but when I am closing it there is no stopping point. What I mean is that it goes straight from closing to venting. This makes it VERY difficult to tell when you have it closed all the way...consequently I got very wet until I pulled over and stood on the step bars and adjusted it while I watched from outside the car. Its going into the shop later on today, but this isn't the way its supposed to work is it?

thanks...

If what I said isn't making sense just say it and I'll try to rephrase... :D

Did you figure out that problem? I have the same issue in a Suburban... Thanks!

I hope you get it fixed, but this is the exact reason I am totally against having a sunroof or moonroof (depending on time of day, yuk yuk).
