Has anyone tried buying a car on Ebay? What are my chances of buying something really cheap? I need a beater and FWD/AWD car soon due to snow. I seen some $100 bids so far on nice cars but they have about 4-5 days left on the bids. This is one of them, I doubt I won't get this for cheap though lol

yeah, i doubt they are goin to stay at that price for long. if not, i will gladly take the supra.

$5600 for that supra, buy it now??? something is fishy about that. i have seen that supra on car domain several times. without everything that he has he could sell the car itself for atleast $25k.

I just really need a winter car soon lol. I'm not totally comfortable buying/bidding on ebay, but that's just me. Maybe some post can change my thoughts.

I bought my 300zxtt on ebay.......1600 bux......needed motor.....which was another 1600 bux.....labor was free, done by me. Cars now worth prob 9 grand or better.....High dollar cars with low low prices are scams set up by people in other countries. I had someone hack into my ebay acct once and post an acura nsx and a twin turbo rx7 with prices of 5 grand each. They set the auctions where you need to contact them to be pre-approved to bid on them and then when you do they want you to wire them the funds for a car you will never get. Most of the time they will offer to pay the shipping as well. Another common scam is........Lets say you bid on a car on ebay but do not win. Well anyone can go and check and see what items you have bid on by checking the bid history. Then you get an email from someone claiming that the high bidder did not pay for the car therefore offering it to you for your bid price. I am an ebay powerseller and have been using it for 3 years+ so if you have an intrest in a car but not sure post a link to it here and I will be happy to verify it before you get stung.
