I have a friend that says he needs his heater core replaced and he's bringing it to me to fix. I mostly work on honda/acuras. How easy it is it to get the dash out, and are there other things that could cause his car to not get any heat besides the header core? Also, are there any online manuals for the 626?

Thanks

Autozone actually has some text on it for the heater care.

my personal best for having the heater core sitting on the ground is 22 minutes. the dash is pretty easy to get out, the steering column drops down, take out the a-pillar trim and the center console. i think there is 11 bolts and some harnesses to disconnect

I dont think you have to remove the dash!!! on my 92 626 it can be done by just removing the cover in the center that is under the dash i just swaped mine out and it took only 20 mins for the complete removal and install.
