I have just acquired a 2000 4runner, (3.4L, 6cyl, 4X4). Where can I find the fuel filter on this vehicle? I'm trying to do my own tune up?

Also, what experience is out there as far as using synthetic oils in the engine (5VZ-FE) or transmission (A340F)?

Fuel filter is under the driver door hidden above a fiberglass shield that unbolts.

Synthetic oils run fine, both places. I have used a couple of different brands for 20k.
