91 2.2 Cranks no fuel no spark....vettekillah 11-22-2004, 03:38 PM Well I had the ignition module and coils tested and they were fine but I replaced them with OEM stuff anyways, since I had them off. I can hear the fuel pump come on but I don't get any fuel at the lone injector and if I did it wouldn't do any good anyways.. because I don't have spark... Where is the Crank sensor located so I can replace it? Another thing I noticed when I was changing the coils I noticed the oil pressure sending unit connection was damaged and looked like it might be toast could this be the culprit? fuel pump good, coil good, ICM good, Is it Crank position sensor or oil pressure sending unit? canoehornpoint 11-27-2004, 06:18 PM I am just getting ready to make a post for a similar problem. There is a newer post with the position of the crank sensor. If you had your ignition control module out, that would have been the time to replace it. Do you have power to the injectors? Check out my post. Hopefully I get a response and it might be helpful to you too. public 11-27-2004, 08:31 PM Yes, the oil sending unit can cause this. This engine will shut down if it looses oil pressure. The crank sensor could also cause this. Good Luck. big dude1 11-28-2004, 02:54 AM You said you dont have any fuel at the injectors... is fuel even getting to the fuel rail? might wanna check that... just a coulple of things to check... Oh, and in reference to spark, if your car has a distributor, (which im almost positive most acars do lol) is the rotor good in it? If you have juice going from the coil to the distributor but no juice to the plugs, than somethings wrong with your distributor... just something to ponder :) public 11-28-2004, 05:26 PM You said you dont have any fuel at the injectors... is fuel even getting to the fuel rail? might wanna check that... just a coulple of things to check... This car has no distributor, GM got rid of those things years ago. As for no fuel, loss of signal from the oil sending unit will cause this. (as stated above) KingCalibra 11-30-2004, 07:41 AM LOL??? (as stated above) Just to add to what you wrote, it's called a Coil Pack, and Chevy's been using them since I guess 89-90 (?) vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
