how to properly install and mount ballast in best location to prevent malfunction

it should come with instructions.

Its pretty much self explanitory. Dont mount anything on anything that gets hot... like motor or radiator.

Silverbolt, thanks for the reply... my question to you is, would it be better to mount the ballasts near the headlight area rather near the strut /fork area?????? ... please reply , thanks

I mounted mine right on the walls of my engine bay.. right next behind my headlight housing. Its nice and far from my engine, so it keeps cool... and close enough to my headlights for a conveniant *sp install. Also, they're illegal to have on your car if your car didnt originally come with HIDs (california), so another reason I put everything there was to also keep it out of sight, and less noticeable.
