My friends and I are doing a swap in a 1990 integra LS. The engine we took out was the obvious b18a engine. We have the new b18b in and we just need to plug and play. Our problem is that even though we swapped in the new obd1 ecu. The wire harness that leads from the old obdo ecu to the new b18b engine harness does not match. We did not get a new harness that leads to the engine harness from our new ecu. We can not find one. If anyone can help us with this by supplying some info that would be great. You can email me at troyzeppieri@yahoo.com or call me 262-949-3363 and ask for troy. Thanks

ok i kinda had a hard time following what you said and what you did exactly so im just gonna tell you what you need to do.

you have 2 options when doing this swap.

ok you need to search and find a website that sells obd0-0bd1 conversion harness. if you have a obd1 engine harness you need to swap plugs on your stock harness to the obd1 plugs or vice versa, that will make it plug and play. but you also need to get a obd1 o2 sensor and add and splice those wires together with the conversion harness. you also need to get a obd1 dist, which you need to just match up colors. the conversion harness will come with directions. you can keep your stock injectors

option 2

swap you o2 sensor, swap you intake mani, swap your dist all over to the b18b to keep it obd0

I just bought a JDM B18B for my 91' integra and i am trying to get all the info before i start. I was wondering if anyone knew what parts i need to take from my old motor? And will i need anything extra to get it running right?
Thanks, Jeff

look at my option 2 in the post above, you may need to swap over your coolant temp switch on the back of your stock motor, im not sure about that
