SOLSTER 12-20-2004, 11:41 PM Can we ask what caused the engine failure, was it the "no oil"problem we've heard before. If so, how often did you monitor the oil level? Did it have a heavy oil consumption problem? I sure want to avoid the same problem. also, how many miles on the engine, and any other info that might help some of us avoid an engine failure. thanks, hope you don't mind me asking SOLSTER twisted99 12-21-2004, 12:05 PM Can we ask what caused the engine failure, was it the "no oil"problem we've heard before. It may have been low, it used more than a quart/1k. truck had less than 57K on it. I was not driving it when it seized. I have avoided that from ever happening again..I traded it in on a Tacoma, never will I buy another Isuzu, especially after the horrible treatment from the dealer I bought it from. UPDATE N THE PARTS: Engine sold, still have some parts on ebay & more not listed yet. http://motors.search.ebay.com/_W0QQgotopageZ1QQsassZ626buffyQQsorecordsperpageZ5 0QQsosortpropertyZ1 vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
