Audio Systems Fuse Circuit

Hello All,

I am experiencing a battery drain on my 97 F150 XLT. I put a test light between the neagative cable and the negative post, and it burns brightly. The light goes out when I remove the 15A mini fuse in number 6 position in the fuse block under the hood. According to the owners manual, it is the Audio Systems fuse. I notice that the radio does shut off when the fuse is removed. It made me think that there is a short in the radio, but when I pull the 5A radio fuse under the steering wheel, the test light remains lit (providing the Audio Systems fuse is in). This leads me to believe that there is not a short in the radio itself. Does anybody know what else the Audio Systems fuse runs, that I can try disconnecting?

Thx,

JAC
