sensor for anti lock brakes 93 buick regalshab 11-20-2004, 06:19 PM Hi, Could someone tell me where to locate the sensor for the anti lock brakes on a 93 buick regal???? Thnx, Shab sierrap615 11-21-2004, 10:09 PM the ABS wheel speed sensors? check on each wheel hub or near the CV-joints/brakes for a two-wire sensor reading the square teeth of a ring gear Ruley73 11-22-2004, 03:49 AM The ABS wheel speed sensor is part of the hub assembly on the back for sure and I'm pretty sure it's the same way for the front. You can't replace the sensor separately from the hub assembly for the back but you might for the front but I highly doubt it. A rear hub is easy to install. Just take off the wheel, brake rotor & caliper then remove the four bolts that hold it on. Installation is reverse of removal (DUH!)The same applies to the front except you'll need remove the spindle lock nut and press out the CV halfshaft which isn't much harder but requires some tools most folks don't have I've replaced both rear hubs on my '95 Regal and had to remove one of the front hubs to replace some broken wheel studs. raybuick 11-28-2004, 07:42 PM Hello, another thing to be aware of if your Abs warning light is on . Pull out the Abs relay box from the fusebox near the battery and check for corrosion at legs of this relay. It happened to me that a leg of the 4 had corroded off causinf the warning light to be on. lostinbaja 01-14-2005, 10:24 AM The rear ABS sensor is build in the hub assy. and not servicable. The front sensor can be replaced without pulling the front spindle but it is a bear to get at. Jerry... vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
