Recently my 98 Windstar ABS and Brake light came on and wont turn off,checked the fluid and is full and the van brakes normally, lights work, i dont know what could be causing the lights to stay on , any ideas?

First inspect the fronts. Jack up car, take wheels off and look for broken wires. The antilock brake sensor cable looks like coax cable. If all looks good, have a shop bleed the brakes, if any air has worked its way into the antilock components, the lights will come on. Also there is a fuse for antlocks, consult your owners manual. If your lights are still on its time for rear brakes. $500. Have a nice day.

Take it down to an auto parts store like AutoZOne and see if they can read the ABS fault codes for you.
