I've got a 1998 ram 1500 v8 and a few months ago it started to get very slow going into reverse and now it doesn't even go in reverse. anyone know what the problem could be??

Are the other gears working ok?

I'd try changing the fluid and filter in the trans, see if that helps.

You may be looking at a rebuild or replacement for the trans.
