Hey people:
Just wondering. Here in Costa Rica, Central America, there are just two gas types, "regular" (which is 87 octane I believe) and "super" matching your premium 93 maybe. What should I use on my metro? Since I bought it two years ago, I use only super (93) but I had never thought about it.

Thanks everybody,

MC

Cheap stuff unless you get pinging. If you get pinging, run severa tanks of fuel cleaner techron concentrate thru the gas, then go back to the cheap stuff.

My metro was knock n pinging, and the only gas to take it away was from a certain brand (76), and only medium or premium grade. I tried premium from all other major US brands, and only 76 would help the problem.
Turns out my timing needed adjusting. After that was done, no more knocking with any gas, even the cheapest :)
