Can anyone give me some advice, I have a front end vibration when i drive, I have rotated and balanced the tires, i have had a front end alignment. I am thinking that either the Tie-Rod ends or the CV joints are bad, how can i determine which? I am trying to fix this myself. 95 Dodge Neon Sport 2.0 SOHC.

Front End checks:

CV joints: Slowly drive car at a maximum turning radius while listening for 'clicking' noises coming from the wheel.

Ball Joints: Jack wheel off ground. Place a tire iron under the wheel and lift up while pushing the top of the tire in. There should be no play in the wheel.

Tie Rod Ends: Jack wheel off ground. Hold steering wheel in place. Grab the left and right sides of the tire. Attempt to wobble the tire side to side without moving steering linkage. There should be no play.
