Hi there, I have noticed that I have two broken exhaust manifold bolts. Both on the drivers side, one at the far rear and one at the very front. Because of the minimal clearance at the back, I suspect that I will have to remove the head to drill them out. Has anyone else had this misfortune? This will cost me about $1500 cad. I don't want to have to do this again. I use this truck for pulling a RV so it gets a good work out once and awhile. I was looking at a set of Edelbrock headers. Would the headers have less stress on the manifold bolts. I am told that tese headers have ports for the sensors etc. Thanks

Hi, I have a 2000 Chev. with a 6.0 engine and I have had two broken bolts also on my truck. Both were on the right side. Just got it back last Monday from the Chev. Dealer with the second repaired bolt.

Took the truck in to a different dealer and they were able to drill them out for about 500.00
