Who do you think would win? Brand new V-Tech with only like 3000 miles on it, Vs. My 99K N/A, Both 5-speed

i test drove the new accord ex v-6 5spd when it came out. i would have to say the accord over an n/a z.

I have (I know you'll find this hard to believe) two friends, with a 91 300Z N/A automatic and 04 Accord with standard and the Zed win every time and it really pisses the one guy off being beat by a car 13 years old.
I'm trying to buy the N/A 300Z from my friend. Want to build a NA and prove a point.

yes, you beating the 4 cyl. v-tech honda accord is not a surprise. you will have alot harder time trying to beat the v6. i think they are 240hp and im sure they are a little lighter than the z. why dont you build your n/a to make a point???

you should easily be able to beat the accord. i beat the v-tec prelude, and i would guess that the prelude is faster than the accord. it was pretty funny when i beat this one prelude, we were going down the interstate and we both downshift and he starts to take the lead, then we shift into 5th and i start to pull away from him. teach him not to be in his power band. little high-revving bastards.

Yeah this dude thinks he can beat me, i raced him before on the highway and was fuckin out on his ass, i think i have more expirence at a 5-speed then he does, but we didnt race from stop to go, yeah i have been thinking of building up my N/A, new downpipes, headers, and what else nitro, haha i dont think i would want to put some nitro in my car, if i do anything i would sell my n/a and buy a TT.

Steve it don't matter which one you own. If you get a TT you'll just pick on faster cars, and being a high performanve nut you'll never be happy with the performance and always be looking for more speed and quicker times. It's human nature. At this point in life you have two choices, one, have your brain reprogramed to love Ford Pinto's, or two accept the fact that for the rest of your life every spare dime you have well be spent on your cars and loving every minute of it.
Now assuming you own your N/A you can build a very fast car out of it that well last a couple hundred thousand miles without much problems and still smoke most 4 wheel monsters out there. The good part is you won't be putting much strain on your car but for a few seconds at a time. Wouldn't it be nice to have a N/A that would smoke a turbo Supra? It's very possable and not really that hard.

Generally people with attitude problems don't have much potential for anything and don't get much help or advice. Maybe some of the more seasoned guys here can give you some advice, cause like you said in another post, I too don't know Jack Shit about cars. Hopefully someday that well all change.

but gringo i want to pick on faster cars  haha i agree with you that i wont be driving no ford pinto, and yes every penny i save will go into preformance, but man if i get a TT jesus i will have some fun smoking v8s like the dreaded shitstang, and ill stick my middle finger out the t-top as i pull away 3 car lengths, :)

What do you mean, pick on the new guy, there still picking on me.
With the front drive all you have to do is drive it backwards and you'll have a rear drive.
Going sideways and fast scares the shit out of me. I like going stright and slow. Anything over 45 and I shit my pants.

Careful about the Pinot comment, they can be REAL fast, worked with a team in Texas that ran a Pinto in the Pro-street class, and they ran a Pinto body, with a twin turbo 289 V8 in it. Made over 400WHP. I was pretty impressive. And alot of fun to work on.

Generally Pinto's are known for ugly green or brown shit cars, I had one with a 460 Super Cobra Jet and a C-6 automatic, ugle green paint. Never could get it to hookup and pulled the engine and trans. and put it in my truck. Best I ever got it to run was the low 9's.
Their's a guy that raced one on the salt, but ran it backwards as it is better aerodynamic backwards than frontwards.
