Been rim hunting for a long time. I put my car domain in my sig before with a "help me choose my rims!" and a lot of visitors from here visited it. I didn't choose either of the two rims from that place though, those were knockoffs and only 7 inches wide, instead got real rims that were 8 inch wide. I've bitched about finding that right offset, width, and style. Well I finally found one that I can afford and is pretty nice.

Ok as promised I finally uploaded pictures of my car with my new rims mounted on:

The offset still isn't lined up to fender. May get some wheel spacers in the spring.

These are 17x8 wheels, not sure on offset. What do you guys think? Good rim choice? These rims were on a sil-80 before, but I think it looks nice on an s14

Just for kicks, car before coilovers and rims:

looks good, doesn't stand out like a sore thumb.. i think 17 is about as big as you can go on a s14 before they look too big.. i'm not going any bigger than 16 on my 93

Pretty nice but I like the Advan 3-spoke. Are 17's too big for an s13. I know it's mostly personal prefference, but with 15's stock, it seems like it would be pretty nice with 17's. What do you guys think.

i think it depends if its lowered or not, and then how low it really is.. i'll have a 1.9R and 2.1F drop when i put my suspension in (still sitting in my room) and it won't look good with anything bigger than 16s.. thats my opinion.. if there's no drop, then 17s MAYBE.. and it depends on the rim too (how it looks)

I only plan on dropping it about 1.4-1.6 front and 1.2-1.4 rear. I want a mesh gold wheel. What do you think, 17's too big? I like the classic looks.

Those rims look great! I don't know, though, the stock hubcaps were pretty sweet, too! (yeah right!) :)
Nice car, man!
