custom turbo kitmomodu7 11-15-2004, 11:24 PM hey everyone, i know that this question might have been asked a thousand times but I wanted to know what are all the parts that I would need to make a custom turbo kit. I have a 1997 Neon, SOHC snd it is an automatic! All replys will be apreciated DanF 11-15-2004, 11:39 PM OK, a manifold, a turbo, a downpipe, and the tubing to hook it to the throttle body. An intercooler if you want to intercool it. As far as oil and coolant go, you can T off the coolant line going into the heater core for cooling the turbo and then put a oil supply line in the drain plug, where you normally darin your oil, then drill anywhere into the system where oil goes through to put the return in. You would need an inline pump, I knwo they sell eletric oil pumps somewhere but I'm not sure where. All you would need is the outlets/inlets for all of them and some good silicone tubing, because its bentable and cutable and can handle like 500 degrees so that is the best option in my opinion. That seems like the easiest way to do it... ghetto riging yes, but it works... and you will have a pretty fast and it doesn't really matter how it looks. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
