Transmission

AT I have a 91 Eagle Talon automatic transmission DOHC. When I put the car in gear it cuts off. I need help in fixing this problem. Please can somebody help me.

I have this same problem on my 91 eclipse gsx it has a problem when its cold out i have to let the car run for a couple minutes before turning it to gear or the engine will die i think it has sumthin to do with the tranny not to sure though
