When I am idling, my engine produces this weird low tone humming noise. When I engage my clutch, the noise is gone. When I let go of the clutch, it's back.

either your clutch is going out or you need to resurface your flywheel. mine was doing the same thing, and then i got a new clutch and got the flywheel resurfaced and it went away.

The previous owner said they just got a new clutch so it now has around 4k miles on it lol. I'm pretty sure I'm notTHAT bad at driving lol. Would you recommend resurface or buy a new flywheel?

usually when the clutch is replaced, the shop resurfaces the flywheel. but they might have not of. most tranny shops, at least around here, do a free diagnostics. take it into a tranny shop and see what they think.

Previous owner brought it to our local Nissan dealership (which is like 30-40 min away from where I live) and have the nessessary maint. work on it. He has all the records on paper and so does the dealership. They said they changed the clutch but nothing about a flywheel. It doesn't bother me that much and I don't see any performence lose yet, so I'm not going to worry about it that much now. Thanks for the tip, I'll bring it to a tranny shop someday...if I can find one around here.
