How the hell does that shit happen?? Is it just a myth, or what. I was watching some show on like ghost, aliens, the chubachabra, and the combustions.

It seems that it happens to old people-at least in the show they displayed it as such. What the hell can cause a human body to burn up-in minutes, and burn through the floor-not the ceiling?? Taco Bell??

hmm interesting, i dont know a lot of spontanious combustion but if i seen it it would be batshit insane

LOL, no but i think it is true. What else can make the body dissentigrate (spelling??) and leave just the the legs from the knees down-AND no traces of fire on the ceiling. I think it has something to do with social security :-)

actually i saw a program on it that tested it. And they found it is possible to do, but its not really spontaneous, just the burning of the body. What they found is that if the body had enough fat on it, the cloths could actually work as a whick and burn the oils in the body. This would cause a good amount of heat underneath the cloths, but not outside. If the body was left to burn long enough it could engulf and the entire torso. This is why alot of times the arms and legs are still left, their isnt much fat on them to burn. I saw them do it with a pig wrapped in blue jeans that burned for like 2 days straight with just a tiny amount of smoke and fire.

Iv heard of people who started smoking from their skin but never actually combusted...some say its from drinking or smoking..i dunno..very interesting and freaky though :)

dude, i've heard about it. Its crazy, i saw it once on like the Sci-Fi channel or something. Its crazy, people just go up in flames. why does that only occur to people who smoke??

The thing is though, the flames are contained-in all cases they show (on all show i've seen) the ceiling was not touched-but the fire burned through the floor.

i had to study it in the police academy and we saw films and police reports from such cases. it IS real and is very rare. it happens in smokers/drinkers and most of the victims are highly stressed people we studied 3 cases because thats really the only ones fairly documented in these times. in thes cases 2 of them were stand up and were incinerated before they hit the ground and did not born the carpet or even raise the temp on it. the third was sitting in a recliner (she lived in sweden or denmark or somewhere like that) and had a remote in her hand and everything but her head,left leg and left arm, which was holding the unscathed remote, completed ininerated without doing anything to the recliner. studies show it takes something like 6000 or 16000 degrees to incinerate that fast with no remains

Weird stuff.. Then again, there are so many unexplained things..

How about this, with all the knowledge we have, and the best scientists in the world still cannot explain the fact that every language is completely different-and accented in there own way. Think about it, where the hell does the speach accent come from??
