Well long time no see...

I've been away from AF(and modelling in general)for a long time(must have been almost a year)however I kept checking some of the awesome projects in here getting motivate to start again a model...
I needed something relatively new, with quality mold, since I still have some nightmares of my ESCI Porsche and new Tamiya R34 GT-R was a very tempting buy...

And the reason I'm putting these in Street-Show section is because I'm not going to follow the Calsonic colors. I have a more mild build in my mind and it's partly because I want a 'quick' build just to get my basic skills sharp again and partly because I couldn't find anywhere the correct body color so Tamiya Mica Blue was my only alternative.
Well here it is with 2 dry coats and one wet. It's not even close to good but with some polishing and a nice clearcoat it will look definately better...However it's going to take me some models to have an acceptable result

As a sidenote here is the reason that kept me away and took allllllll my budget...

The real car and track driving even in a cheap car and a tight budget is really a painful and time consuming 'hobby'...

However the experience and the reward is worth it...Nothing is like a quick lap at the track even if your just close to your limits and using even 8/10 of the cars real potential...

Well sorry for the big post and the bad use of the language(together with many mistakes!) -Back with more pics soon

** edit ** pic 04 has a problem I'll fix it later tonight...

Looks good. Glad to see you're back. So, are you building this as more of a street car gone wild, or just the racecar with a different color but all the markings?
