How much would it cost to swap a(man.95 s10) 6cyl 4.3L to a 4cyl 2.2L

i dont care about power, i just care about the money, thus less time at the gas station, so how much would u think it would cost?

I would not recommend the change. I have a 95 with the 2.2 and now ready for the second cylinder head change at 130K miles. Am actually looking at doing the opposite. replace my 2.2 with a 6 cyl.

I dont think the mileage gain would be that great in a 4.3 to 2.2 swap ... you would be better off trading it in for a car.
