any 350 will pop in there.

Just search the net for the s10 350 swapping manual.

It will guide you through the install.

You will have to buy the guide but it does everything for you.

I've heard that if you buy one from a similar year truck a lot of the v6 wiring can be utilized. Plus in NY it's illegal to put an older engine in a car unless it's exempt (30+) years old. I've seen people put 383 strokers in astro vans, and they haul.

By the way, what about dropping in a twin turbo 350? -Now that would be sweet.

im looken for (i think) a twin turbo lt1 from a ss camaro, part out the camaro hopefully make some money back, and a cam shaft from a local race supply store down the road with the nitrus bottle (just for braggen rights not to necisarily use, but there is a probe with the mazda 6 i gotta show up next summer)

It will take you longer than a few months to do it! I don't think you'll find a TT camaro sittin in a juck yard anywhere! Besides it don't take much to make an S-10 scoot. Lingenfelter did a AWD TT 427 LS1 awhile back and lets say it barely fit in there, they had to mount the radiator in the bed and make special scoops to draw in air into the bed.

It sounds like you think everything will bolt right in with out any work. Well I hate to break your heart but there's alot of work

i kno, we put a lt in my cousins 2.2l 89 s 10, when he totaled that we converted a 2 wheel drive blazer and changed it into 4 wheel drive, it took over 2 and a half hours in my uncles auto shop to get the moter hooked up (not including exhaust or wireing) so, i kno its not all bolt in fits together like it was made to be there, but the 4.3 will be easyer to work with seince the moter mounts are the same on the 4.3 and the small block 8;s

Don't think you'll have the room for twin turbo. especially if you use mounts where they are. Mine moved about 4" forward to avoid moving trans. Steering column also an issue goes through headers.

I got a set of short headers off ebay that worked perfectly for $129.

I left the trans where it was and moved the 4.3 mounts forward with 5/16 plate. I also found those on ebay but you could do it yourself. I was short on time. The dr side plate holes did not line up and I welded the mount fixture to the plate and the plate to the frt cross member. I had to notch the assy to clearance the rag joint. The water pump pulley bolts are 1" from rad. Installed twin cooling fans from a dodge minvan in front of A/C cond. If you decide to move the engine back you will have to modify the drive shaft, firewall and move trans xmember.
