I just noticed today that my drivers side headlight (lowbeam) is brighter than the passenger side one? What could have caused this? the other night i was trying to remove the headlights but I didn't mess w/ the wires, bulbs, etc. Maybe when I was tugging on the headlight to pry it out it screwed the bulb up? Is there some sort of dim control for the headlights? ( I doubt it, but I dunno) The bulbs are the stock ones, never changed them to any aftermarket bulb. So how come the one headlight (lowbeam) is a lot brighter than the other? Does it have something to do with a fuse? I need help? I'm clueless when it comes to electrical aspect of a car :( please, any technical advice is very appreciated. Thanks guys

maybe your bulb is about to go out, cuz light bulbs tend to get dim for a little while just before they go out.

Also, maybe one is aimed lower than the other, so it just looks dimmer.

I don't think it's the bulb b/c I only got the car a month ago. It could be that one headlight is not adjusted right and not aimed properly b/c I did move the headlight around the other night when trying to get it out. Maybe I'll just readjust the headlight and position it even w/ the other one? But thanks for the input Swonder67. You seem to always use this G20 message board and you got pix of your civic? are you a civ Owner or G20 owner?

oh yeah one more other thing. on the driver side headlamp if you're looking from the hood. Left side near the corner, what's the one LONG screw for?? At first I thought that was the 3rd screw that held the headlight to the chassis? on the passenger side headlamp. it's in a diff spot?? what's up w/ those screws? what do they do ?? Anybody know what i'm talkin boutz? peace

The really long screw there adjusts the angle or your headlight.. I hope ya didn't touch it. If you did that's probably what's wrong.

:( yep...i fooled around w/ that long screw. Didn't know what it was really for. Thought it was just another screw that held the headlight to the chassis. I guess I have to play around w/ it and re-adjust the angle of the headlights  Now it will never be aligned perfectly unless I have a good eye. Anybody else ever fool around w/ that one long screw ??

haha, I had the same problem when I bought some PIAA Ion bulbs for the fogs. One looked much dimmer than the other and I was just about to go return them. Good thing I thought of adjusting them, and it solved the problem. :p
