I'm getting about 12-13 city mileage on a new Sedona (about 5K miles so far). Is this typical?

I hope not , I just purchased mine a week ago.. Do you think it has any thing to do with the break in process? Not really sure...

My 2005 gets about 15 city and 21 highway. Still love the van, but yes the milage does suck!!!

We have a 2006 with almost 7000 miles on it & we have been getting 13 to 14 mpg. We were hoping it would get better but it has not. We love the van but are VERY disappointed in the gas mileage.

With about 8K on our 2006 loaded EX (400 lbs extra weight) we get 23-24.5 on the road and average about 18 with short commutes mixed with trips accross town. Mileage improved a bit after break-in. Think odometer is a little off and mileage may be just a little lower than calculated. Hopefully you will get better mileage eventually!

If miles really do vary this much KIA should figure out what variables are causing the problem. Could just be some lead feet or could be fuel injection systems, sensors or computers not uniform. George in Wisconsin.
