Information on JDM H22A 220HP ?JordansLude 11-09-2004, 05:27 PM Can someone tell me where i can find some information on this engine. I would like to put it into my 93 prelude. CivicSpoon 11-09-2004, 07:40 PM It's the Prelude Type S motor. Read this: http://asia.vtec.net/beystock/honda/preludes/ I've heard people say not to do the swap because it has something called ATTS. Honestly I don't have a damn clue what it is other than it being some kind of traction control. Maybe look into the Accord h22 Euro R motor, it has the same hp rating as the Type S, and as far as I know doesn't have the ATTS (not positive so don't quote me on that). JordansLude 11-09-2004, 09:48 PM Oh , thank you. Can i put a 97-00 euro accord motor in a 1993 prelude ? SiGNAL748 11-09-2004, 09:57 PM Yes Interlude 11-10-2004, 08:56 PM Both the Prelude Type S AND the Prelude SiR Spec S have 220HP. The Type S has ATTS, but the SiR Spec S doesn't, I believe it has a LSD tranny instead. The block on the H22A Type S is different to accomadate the ATTS. So if you want to swap in a 220HP H22A the Sir Spec S would fit fine. vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
