dual climate control 2001 grand cherokee

the passenger side is staying cold the dial reads fine but when you turn it up to say 75 80 deg is still blows cold air drivers side is fine, thankz for any help oh yeah its a 2001 grand cherokee.

Unfortunately it is a very common problem with these jeeps. Your blend door is most likely stuck in the AC position. The plastic gear that turns the door is probably stripped out. Now for the Bad news-it's about $600 to fix, the whole dash has to come out. I wish Jeep would step up to the plate and fix this problem since it is so common. I doesn't seem fair to make Jeep owners pay for these countless # of repairs due to bad designs (ie. Brakes, dual climate, differentials, etc,etc, etc)
