Working on a 97 grand cherokee 4.0L. Its a friend's car and here is what she tells me is wrong(everytime i drive it, nothing is wrong, typical): it will start out fine then after driving for a while it will skip and bog down and she can only go 30 mph on the highway. if she pushes the throttle it will not go any faster, just bog more. That's pretty much all i have on it. I am not getting any codes when i connect it to my computer. TPS readout seems incorrect from what I can tell. According to my software, it is supposed to 0% at idle and 100% at full Throttle. I am getting 16% at idle. My first thought was Crankshaft position Sensor? any ideas? thanks.
