Chances are they, the newbs, will still posts their questions about owning a Skyline in the US without ever reading the stickies or this thread. Think about this though, for all the newbs that register here everday only a small percentage fall into the newb "idiot" catogory.

So theres really no need to worry yourself over those threads cause theres no stopping them from being made. The only thing we can do is show the newbs the stickies and report the threads to a Mod.

we should at least make a thread that you HAVE to read in order to join the skyline section. and once you read it, the rest of the threads will open up.

2) if u want a Skyline, call RB Motoring, bcuz they're the only ones in the U.S. that can LEGALLY import one in the U.S.

as you can read in the above you will notice that the creator if this post is comparing a 300ZX to a MKIV Toyota Supra TT. Now personally I have driven both vehicles in a stock and a highly modified state, and well there is no comparison, the 300ZX has nothing at all on the Supra in any aspect. If I wanted to I could easily import a Skyline, I know exactly what needs to be done with all the paperwork. I've already had friends import them and have some that are preparing to. I think I've done a SHITLOAD more research on it then you, considering I actually want to import one. It also makes it better when you are in Japan and you can test the car out before you buy it and import it. And by physically looking at it you can see any minor damage. :owned:

Well I'm not quite sure but I've seen the paperwork showing all the modifications that need to be done to a Skyline. The problem is that it is Proprietary, meaning that it is official paperwork and you would have to do the crash tests yourself to produce your own information. I've heard all kinds of crap, sometimes it's hard to tell what is fact or fiction. Read the sticky with the title.....I think it's "Skyline crash test with Pictures". Like I said I'm no expert but I have looked very in depth into this because I'd love to import my Skyline. :smokin: When I go home to visit, I'm going to talk to some people I know that work at Garages and see if anyone knows anthing about them or can investigate more into the subject.
