'99 Amigo - Average mileage life expectancy for these vehicles?mvidana 11-07-2004, 03:55 PM I am considering buying a 1999 Isuzu Amigo. It seems to be in very good condition with 76k and my question is for long time Amigo owners - Does the Amigo have a reputation for problem areas (ie: trans) and what is the mileage average on these before they poop out? Anyone know?? ec437 11-07-2004, 03:57 PM before they poop out... lol what countries do they sell the amigo in? mvidana 11-07-2004, 04:05 PM Sorry - "poop out" for lack of a better word. I have been reading reviews on this all afternoon (brain fry) but they are just opinions. I wondered if someone had facts. I don't like paying thousands of dollars and having no facts... makes me nervous.. :O) megavolt121 11-07-2004, 10:47 PM Read my post in the thread "considering a purchase" or something along those lines amigo-2k 11-08-2004, 08:58 AM amigo-2k 11-08-2004, 09:01 AM amigo-2k 11-08-2004, 09:01 AM Maintaince is key and you can get an easy 200k. nuclearcal 12-22-2004, 07:34 PM Anybody tell me where I can get a fuel level sending unit for a 99 Amigo v-6.....other than a dealer? amigo-2k 12-28-2004, 11:30 PM St. Charles Isuzu. cost about 40 bucks shipped. hipwilly 10-31-2005, 02:34 PM I am considering buying a 1999 Isuzu Amigo. This will probably not help much, but i purchased a 1999 amigo w/ 2.2L. it had 40k miles and i put 50k on it. i was coming home and about two miles from home the oil light came on, by the time i got it home it was making a great deal of noise and needed to buy another motor which seems to be running good. i still have not gotten the other motor back yet to tear apart and see what is going on inside.
