The BEAST!!Schister66 11-07-2004, 01:26 PM I woke up today (Saturday) and turned on Spike TV and was watching Car and Driver TV and on there they showed a look-alike SEMA show for imports...i forget the name of it however. Anyway they had a segment about performance and near the end of the segment, they showed what was called the "ultimate" Honda block. It had a lifetime replacement warranty and they said it was the last block you ever needed to buy because it was indestructable...so they claim. It was called the Beast GX20 so i'm pretty sure that means 2.0L. It was a DOHC VTEC and they claimed 270 hp and 185 ft/lbs of torque at the crank around 7500 rpm. It redlined at 8500-10000. The whole set up for the Beast ran around 11k after everything was delivered. I don't know if it came with a tranny, however. It was a crate engine that needed gas and a battery and it was ready to roll...no assembly required. I want to know if anyone has seen anything about this or if you Honda fanatics have known about it for a while, but it was new to me so I had to share. gunnmen01 11-07-2004, 02:44 PM it comes from Mr. gasket...try there web site gunnmen01 Ace$nyper 11-07-2004, 04:05 PM I saw one IRL i put my dick in the hole for the header sexy motor but insane amount of $$$ for it.
