Finished - Lamborghini Murcielago (Arancio Atlas Pearl)CADguy 11-07-2004, 11:36 AM I present to you the gorgeous Lamborghini Murcielago. The exterior paint is Cobra Colors' 'Arancio Atlas Pearl'. An authentic Lamborghini color. It's a 3 stage paint (midcoat/topcoat/clear), and it came out fantastic. I highly recommend these awesome Lamborghini pearls. The color is extremely hard to photo. I hope you get some idea of the color. The pearls can make parts of the car look yellow, and other parts bright orange. The wheels are stock, with the centers painted black. The interior was painted 3 shades of tan/brown, and black. I modified the front windshield as Veyron did. Lowered it front and back, and widened the front track 2.5mm per side. I hope you enjoy http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/caddguy025/Murcielago/Mircie_color.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/caddguy025/Murcielago/Murcie_front.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/caddguy025/Murcielago/Murcie_Top.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/caddguy025/Murcielago/Murcie_side.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/caddguy025/Murcielago/Murice_rear.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/caddguy025/Murcielago/Murcie_engine.jpg mike united 11-07-2004, 11:39 AM :worshippy That paint job is to die for, love the first pic. Totally stunning job all round !!! white97ex 11-07-2004, 11:41 AM that is awesome. a very sexy automobile done justice in 1/24th scale bigfrit 11-07-2004, 11:43 AM hmm I like it a lot... painjob looks great! only little detail is the placing of the front decal, you might want to move it back a little... IMHO Olivier Andy Jones 11-07-2004, 11:48 AM Love it ! proosen 11-07-2004, 11:48 AM I got to have one of these and that colour is just spot on, hard to photo or not I love it. Isn't it annoying when you have that fabolous paint job and can't show people what it really looks like. I have the same problems with my ongoing Ferrari Daytona, it looks nothing in the pics that it does in real life. Niclas The Lambrusco Kid 11-07-2004, 11:49 AM I agree 100%, that color is gorgeous and I really like what you've done to the wheels. CADguy 11-07-2004, 11:53 AM hmm I like it a lot... painjob looks great! only little detail is the placing of the front decal, you might want to move it back a little... IMHO Olivier Thanks Oli! I know the decal is supposed to be on the hood, but I don't think it looks good there. So I moved it to the nose. Thanks guys! :) owlmodel 11-07-2004, 12:13 PM wow! awsome! that color looks good on the murcielago. owlmodel 11-07-2004, 12:22 PM a little comment on the italian car shift knob... the shift knob could be replace with a steel ball, which can be found in a tiny bearing, or you can go to Ace hardware to get a size that fit on it. hope that helps. apex_N1 11-07-2004, 12:25 PM That is beautiful! Here are some links. http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?FUJ12196 http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?FUJ12200 http://www.hlj.com/scripts/hljpage.cgi?FUJ12202 Bas Carwash - Yes, the exhaust pipes are off they attach to the chassis funky, and do lean to the left a bit. I have 4 days left before entering this in a show, and will most likely fix them. Or I may change them to this configuration: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v310/caddguy025/Murcielago/Murc1_4l.jpg 1986Z28 11-08-2004, 12:47 PM very nice job on the paint, i also like the first pic Spitfire7 11-08-2004, 02:04 PM Wow, very impressive!
