SE vs BASE

For a 1995 Nissan 240sx, what is the difference between the base model and the SE. I know the suspension is a little diffrent and one is then the 4lug and se is 5 lug . And i know the se has a possible lsd/abs package so dont include that.

base model has skinnier tire/rim combo, it has 4 lug bolt pattern, it has no rear sway bar, it has softer springs, it has no front chin spoiler, no rear spoiler, has no intermitting windsheild wiper speed, it has black faced gauges, has only 1 roof lamp. i think thats all i can think of off the top of my head.

geez, that's kinda impressive. How many 240s have you owned?

SE also had ABS, VLSD options. Powerdoor locks, sunroof (options). Foglights also. As far as softer springs I don't think that's true, they share the same struts don't they. SEs only have the 5-spoke 16" rims standard as opposed to the base model's hubcaps 15'. SEs weigh like 40 lbs more.

i've owned 1 240. but i go to quit a few meets and i know quit a few people with 240's. i have a friend that did a almost a full conversion of a 97 base model to a SE.

mine is almost a full conversion. Got foggers, spoiler, keyless entry (from car alarm), going to get a sway bar. Though I am missing cruise control, the variable windshield wiper switch :mad: , and the very important 5-lugs :disappoin . 5-lug conversions r too much, just going to get a 4-lugger

lolz so cosmetically your almost there. but mechanically your still base. i mean go to freshalloy on the want to buy section and buy from front and rear hubs. for a S14 is a direct bolt on front and rear. its not hard like it is with a S13. i'll talk to my friend who did the full conversion and i'll see what is required. but all i know is that he got it done for cheap.
