Help me save my baby blue!TweetyDee 11-06-2004, 06:17 AM Have been seearching web for hours, so glad I found y'all! I don't want to give up my 94 Metro, but lately the problems are piling up! The fan & heat stopped working, it won't pass smog, and the radiator fan is directly wired just to keep cool. (already replaced fan sensor/motor). On top of all that, somebody hit her in the middle of the night, and cracked my wheel. I am having a hard time finding a 12" wheel in So. Cal. Any advice for any of the above?? MatLax 11-06-2004, 01:11 PM For the wheels, change them all for 15'' =P TweetyDee 11-06-2004, 07:18 PM Trust me, if I could afford that right now I would. Unfortunately that is not feasable. Just trying to find a temporary replacement so I don't break up on the freeway! Why on earth did they EVER decide to use 12"?! If you want to pay shipping, I will send you a tire and wheel. Email me @ dstuart115@excite.com. I live in Kansas City so shipping might be $20 to $30. I will have to check. I also have a bunch of spare parts. Give me a list and I will see what I have and shot you a price. MatLax 11-08-2004, 04:00 PM 12" has a smaller outer diamater. But if I were driving a geo, I wouldn't be worried about looks, handling, or speed. :p geozukigti 11-15-2004, 05:48 PM said the guy who has 14'' wheels =P sure, it's better for performance but it pretty ugly =P AH HAH! I have 15" :-P. The 12" rims won't fit over my brakes. Nor will they handle enough tire to keep traction. I use Toyo 195/50R15's. Gotta put the power to the ground somehow. On a 3cyl metro, 15's are horrid, and makes the car a complete dog. I'm buying a 3 banger metro here soon and it's got 15's. Anyone want them? Trade ya for a set of 12's with winter tires! :smokin: vBulletin®, Copyright ©2009, Jelsoft Enterprises Ltd.
