a good race??

i'd bet all my money on the FD3S. Z28s are slow, heavy pigs. I can take them with my TII. My goal is to beat a Z06 on the track. I'm getting close.

yea, Z28's are lucky to run 15 flat stock, and with an exhaust the don't do much more

^ actually my younger brother got a 2002 35th ann which blows away just about anything. stock, but they`re supposed to have 345, i dont know, all i know is that it goes.

most z`s do suck though. that is true

I was under the impression that z28's were quick... :dunno:

they have like 250 horses but they weigh like 3350 lbs I think.

they have almost 300 lbs of torque I think though so they do some pretty burnouts lol

my friend has a 96 with an K&N and flowmasters and he beat our friends stock 98 Mustang GT by a little over a car length and the guy ran his GT at 15.1.... both are autos though so I'm sure sticks can go a bit quicker

its 285hp, 325 torque, and the weight is about right. i would hardly call them slow but the fd should be able to take it assuming theres a good driver

The 285hp rating is for the LT1 93-97 Z28's. The 98-02 have an LS1, and it is faster than the LT1. The engine has at least 300hp, and I think about 350-375 torque. You all are putting it down way too much, it's heavy, but it packs a lot of power.

I think it would be a pretty close race, stock vs stock, but with a modified engine, I would probably give it to the Z28.

*Note, I like both the Camaro and RX7, but they are hella hard to find around here, especially one of the last generation, so I have a little bias, but not too much.

stock Z28's run 15 flat man, sorry but stock vs. stock it just isn't gonna win if the 7 has a decent driver, why does this continue?
