My buddies Ram truck is having transmision problems. When it is cold like in the morning. It will seem to sort of "get stuck" in 2nd gear. The RPM's go up a lot higher then usual before it shifts. If you let off...it will coast then go back up to the RPMs where it is still in second. You can play with the throttle and it will finally shift. Does anyone have any ideas what could be causing this? It is full of fluid.

Maybe it's got some nasty build up in the tranny, or it could be the torque converter. With these trannys, it could be a number of different things.

Warm your truck up in the morning when it's cold outside. Don't be a fool.
