I have decided to go a bit milder with my plan for my 91 CRX Si. Instead of the turbo I had planned, I want to start saving some money for a car that would be more of a force on the drag strip. I do however want to upgrade the rex a little more, and use it as a bracket racer while i get into the whole race scene.... Currently the setup is:

JDM B16A
AEM intake
Tanabe Cat-Back Exhaust
Highflow Cat
Headers
Skunk2 Coilovers
Tokiko Shocks
Clutchmasters Stage 3 Clutch

What would make some nice finishing touches to the car as far as performance (already got the looks planned out as well as brake upgrades). I wanna finish with the car making about 250HP.... thanks for any replys.

I think that 250bhp NA is a little bit of a pipe dream unfortunately. Kudos to you if you can do it, but an addition of 90bhp from a stock 160bhp in all-motor trim? That's going to take more money than setting up a reliable turbo.

Next step should be headwork, compression, cams, better quality pistons and conrods for reliability etc if you really want to go down that path.

Quad throttle bodies, 13:1 compression, racing fuel, Mugen racing ECU and a B18C bottom end.

possibly some major lightening on the crank, valvetrain, and drivetrain, and pull about 10k rpms or so out of the engine
