Hey,
My dad has an '01 Silverado 1500 and the heater core is leaking. He tried getting to it but never could access it..

Does anyone have some know how on how to get it out? After a search all I found were a few threads of now help in the S10 forum, sounds like this could be a pain in the rear.

If you drop the A/C box under the passager side and it is not right there or if you have those air filter things then you are going to have to a pull all kinds of stuff out.

One part I read is you have to take apart some of your a/c to get to it.

I hope I am wrong.

Get a Hayes manual and look at the process. If you get stuck re-post and WE can all help.
