What a joke, they have this comparison on the cover on the magazine, then inside, they only have performance estimates for the M5???

even so, they are estimating that the E55 quick be quicker..... and the M5 will handle better... no surprise....

Yea, not too big of a deal that the Merc accelerates a bit faster, 516 ft/lbs vs 383 ft/lbs is a pretty big difference, even with the horsepower advantage of the M5. If I were buyin a sedan like these, I personally would have handling as a bigger priority then straight line acceleration. There is no way the Merc, with a 5-speed auto, could be nearly as much fun as the M5. I'd take the M5 anyday.
