My 97 Sierra steers wierd sometimes. I'ts hard
to explain but when i"m going around a corner
at a little speed and cut it a bit the wheel feels
like it "dives" into the corner and I need to manage
it. I'm used to it already but I would like to know
if it's inherent or if anyone has had a prob. like this.
Had the truck a couple weeks and love it but there
are issues. Thanks.

Have you checked the front tyres? Make sure they are in good shape and the same pressure before looking for big problems.

Also agressive tread patterns can somtimes cause the "dive" into corners that you refer to.

I had a similiar problem with my truck before and it seems to be doing it again. The first time it happened it was under warranty, took it to the dealer and they found a bad wheel speed sensor. The truck has a steering assist at low speeds and cuts out at higher speeds, it was not cutting out. My truck is doing it again and I was looking for someone who might know where it is located.
