What is a good sized turbo for a jdm b16a... Some people say if ya get one to big you won't get any power and if to small you run out of power.. And what does t3 or t4 stand for? thanks

that gets throw up as best SO often while granted it can be a great setup with the right A/R ratio it also could suck or be too big or too small for him.
Me i like a little faster spooling turbo like a t-28. well as far as honda motors go I wouldn't even boost one cause i'm an N/A junkie.
what are you looking for in this turbo set up?

I hear you on that first comment. I get told ALL the time by four banger turbo people that I should put a t3/t4 on my car. The stock GN turbo was basicaly a t3/t4/ with weird .44 trim wheel. The turbo I have is a TE-63... Go big or go home.

id stick with a .42/.48 for nice everyday use, or .48/.60 if you really want it to pull all they way through the rpm range. .42/.48 is usually perfect for a stock honda

Really I never knew that I always assumed it was a big ole trim T4 and the size of the motor did the spooling.
I learned something new
That must be a kick ass ride you have
Well if you want something and your planning up grade might as well do a new turbo while your rebuilding. I'd say do somthing like a T-28 now and jump up to a bigger one later. Like Hypsi big ass TE-63.
