Towing question

I've got a 2001 LT tahoe and need to tow a flat bed trailer. Its about 30 feet long and I suspect it doesnt weight close to the 8000 lbs limit. It even has tiny tires rolling on it. My question is, do you think its wise to pull something like that for a parade? I do live in a hilly area, I was curious as to what problems I might have to plan for, eg., brakes and tranny wise. Should I change trans. fluid, is there a certain type I need for a job like this? Can I burn the brakes out with a load like this. How much can these trucks really take when it comes to towing? Any advice from you guys? Thanks

Im planin a trip from Florida 2 Kali n back pullin a 18ft to 20 ft flatbed trailer w/ a GSXR600 n a KAWI 636 n a CRX. Im lookin for a trailer w/brakes on it. I need to install a brake controler on my truck. You said u lived in a hilly area, I would say get trailer w/brakes or put one on it. Then buy a controler for your truck. Hope that helped.
