Just Recently I Have Been Having A Loud Humming Moaning Noise Which Seems As If It Is Coming From The Front Tires Whenever I Go Over 30 Mph. It Gets Louder As I Increase My Speed And The Steering Wheel Starts To Shake As I Hit 55 To 60 Mph. I Even Watch The Tachometer And Notice That It Is Higher Than Normel As I Am Cruising On The Freeway. I Now Alotabout Cars But I Just Dont Know Enough To Understand What Is Doing This. Any Help Would Be Appriciated.

Thanks,
Daniel

OK....there are a number things to look at....since the vibration is telescoping through the steering column to the wheel you might wantot check your tires to see they are properly balanced. If they are fine then you need to check to see that you do not have any bushings missing or broken....then the worst case sincerio wouls be the control velocity joints and axels....I would first have the tires checked and perhaps rebalanced. A quick way to see is to put both rear tires on the front and both front tires on the back and see if the problems go to the rear of the car. If it does then the tires need to be rebalanced. Another note to check is the make sure the rims are not bent and any good tire store (liek Discount tire) can check to see they are not warpped or bent. Good luck!

Two most common scenarios...1) A weight fell of the inside of your rim, and you just need to get the tire rebalanced...just a few bucks
2) You have a warped rotor, and need to get it resurfaced($7) or replaced.

Have you checked your tire pressure to make sure it's correct?
Does your steering wheel vibrate alot when you brake?
Also when parked, grab ahold of your tire and try to shake it. Does it move?

Have a mechanic check it out, as it is probably something really cheap

could also be your hub bearings. to eliminate if it may be your tires...if you cannot see any noticable problems w/ the tires....rotate tires back to front and see if the prob persist. while your tires are removed....go ahead and check your axles....see if boots are busted our if you see any grease coming out the boots.

ONE THING THAT I FORGOT TO MENTION IN MY STATEMENT IS THAT I HAD NEW TIRES PLACE WITHIN THE WEEK AND THAT THE SOUND IS STILL GOING ON.
