If I hooked up a Sparco steering wheel in my car.. could I hook up nitrous to one of their external horn buttons?

Probably, but it depends on the kit. You might need an additional arming switch.

Basically I just wanna know if I can get it so I hit that button and spray..

I figure it's out of the way enough that there is no risk of accidently hitting it while driving.. though I suppose it wouldn't matter if I didn't have the bottle open.

I'm pretty sure you could but you'd have to get a nitrous switch for your system if it operates on a TPS sensor. I know NOS makes one.

you could do it. have a switch on the side to arm the whole thing and wire the buttons to spray

you gotta get one of those cords, they look like a telephone cord, spirally so you can turn your wheel

You would need to run the button to a relay, then from the relay you could go to the nitrous solenoid/s. The button probably won't hold up to the current draw of the solenoid.

wow u guys make everything harder then it is...

assuming u have the zex kit with the TPS sensor someone mentioned above, just wire the button inline between the sensor and the brain of the kit. I came up with a pretty crazy wiring set up that would allow u to turn a key in the dash to change the function of both bottons from horn/horn to purge/spray. If you want a diagram of it or have any more electrical questions hit up my AIM dayvidgallagher

I don't think that I made it harder than it is, not knowing the strength of the contacts in the button I would run it to a relay, taht way you don't damage the button. Nitrous soleniods have a decent amount of current draw, a lot more than a horn anyway (which is what the switch was designed for)
Also nobody said anything about ZEX :screwy:

ah your right no one really mentioned zex i was just skimming through...as for the relay thing, yea you could prolly do that, but i bet it could be eliminated by putting the switch inline to another part of the nitrous circuit, maybe not, just a thought
